Around the world with emmett
Around the world with Emmett is a children’s book about a central park duck who grows tired of his home city and decides to travel the world. Along the way he learns much about different cultures and experiences places he has never been to before. But along the road he misses his family and his home. This encourages children to both explore cultures that are not their own, and also places an important emphasis on family, whether found or biological. With elements of magical realism, as well as utilizing a kidslit style, these painterly illustrations pop with both color, and texture.
